Carries to Ravensbrück: 1942-1945 - Bibliothèque Jacqueline Dreyfus-Weill
In May 2026, the Jacqueline Dreyfus – Weill Library offers a poignant look at the story of sixteen women, victims of deportation to Ravensbrück. Loaned by the National Archives, this exhibition traces the journeys of these women, from resistance fighters to prisoners, French and foreign women, Christians and Jews, victims of Nazi barbarity. The exhibition, within the framework of Remembrance Month, sheds light on the impact of the war and the resilience of these women. It relies on original portraits and documents to offer an immersive and moving experience. The event is the result of a collaboration between the National Archives and the Memorial to Internment and Deportation. A guided tour is scheduled for May 20. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to honor these women and witness their courage. The exhibition is free.
