Sow our resistances

In October 2026, the MAIF Social Club will host “We Sow Our Resistances,” an unprecedented exhibition exploring the urgent need to build more just lifestyles in response to contemporary crises. Co-curated by the cultural venue and featuring fifteen renowned artists – including Simon Augade and Mark Jenkins – the exhibition offers a critical look at the ecological, social, and political issues of our time. The installation is part of a civic engagement approach, inviting collective reflection and action. The event aims to be a celebration of “joyful dissent,” valuing difference and life. At the heart of this exhibition, diverse artworks – installations, sculptures, photographs – question the possible alternatives to our current lifestyles. A queer and militant fanfare will also animate the opening, promising an immersive and participatory experience. The exhibition is free and open to the public from October 17, 2026, to July 24, 2027.
