The Third Space : Installation and Live Creation

In November 2026, Japanese artist ASUMI KUWANA will transform the Galerie Joseph into a temporary artistic laboratory. She will deploy an immersive installation of flowers and Japanese paper (washi), exploring the connections between memory, space, and matter. Beyond the final result, the public is invited to witness the birth of the work: live creation, photo session with a model, followed by a progressive dismantling, transforming the gallery space step by step. This unique experience allows one to observe the interactions between the elements – flowers, paper, light – and their resonance with inner worlds. The artist draws inspiration from memories and the memory of places to create an ever-evolving universe. An approach where the process is as important as the work itself. The event offers a day of creation followed by an opening reception, then a photo session before the final dismantling of the installation.
