Beyond the streets

From the streets of Los Angeles, New York, and Shanghai, graffiti and street art take on a new dimension in Paris. The exhibition “Beyond the Streets” is being installed at the Grande Halle de la Villette from May 27, 2026, bringing together more than 100 international artists, from legends like Shepard Fairey and Futura 2000 to emerging talents. This unprecedented edition, commissioned by graffiti historian Roger Gastman, explores the lasting cultural impact of this underground movement, from its murals to immersive installations. More than just an exhibition, it’s a journey through the history of urban culture, from tagged subway cars to contemporary art. Custom-designed spaces, a concept store orchestrated by Sarah Andelman, and a focus on the legacy of these often-unknown artists make this Parisian experience a major event for art and culture enthusiasts. The exhibition is part of a respectful approach to the work and its creators, valuing their contribution to the transformation of our visual landscape.
