What Remains at the Bottom of Me by Karen Assayag

Karen Assayag invests La Fabrique from February 17th to July 31st, 2026, to present a photographic body of work of great sensitivity. The artist is dedicated to capturing the imperceptible traces left by time and lived experiences on beings. Through her approach that is both documentary and artistic, she makes the invisible visible – these inner echoes that shape our humanity. This installation highlights faces and life stories, creating a silent but powerful dialogue between viewers and the subjects. By placing empathy at the center of her approach, the photographer transforms this welcoming space into a gallery of raw emotions.
