Starting June 17, 2026, BiS challenges our certainties about the objects that surround us. A chair, signage, or the layout of a public space may seem ordinary, yet they often dictate who can access space and who remains excluded. This bold program deconstructs the mechanisms by which design, even unintentionally, maintains social inequalities. By analyzing our living environments, the event proposes concrete solutions for building a more welcoming world for all. It’s no longer just about aesthetics, but a commitment to a society where every individual finds their place without obstacles. This necessary reflection on universal design takes place over a ten-day period. An essential appointment to examine with a fresh perspective the impact of urban planning and furniture on our lives until June 28.
