For two decades, Luc Petton and Marilén Iglesias-Breuker have been pushing the boundaries of life by bringing together the human body with that of birds. On June 2nd and 3rd, 2026, micadanses-Paris will shed light on this unusual union through an event dedicated to writings about choreography. This encounter also calls upon the raw energy of the collective Lolita, a veritable electric discharge from the 1980s, and questions the political scope of gesture with specialist Bernad Bénit. From classic sketches from the 17th century to contemporary catalogs from the Musée de Besançon, the event makes tangible the invisible link between paper and movement. It’s a rare opportunity to see how thought and archives nourish current creation, far from traditional theater venues.
