Lucie Doyen at the swimming pool - Piscine Thérèse et Jeanne Brulé
Vincent Fournier, a French photographer recognized for his explorations of futuristic imaginaries, presents an immersive exhibition at the Thérèse et Jeanne Brulé swimming pool. From July 4th to October 18th, 2026, the public will be invited to observe a “bestiary” of nonexistent but potentially future species. Fournier, known for his collaborations with NASA and the CNRS, uses unretouched photographs to create a universe between documentary and science fiction. The exhibition highlights evolved creatures, adapted to a changing natural environment, emphasizing the questions related to the impact of man on nature and technological advancements. The work is part of a reflection on anticipation and representations of the future, combining surrealism, biotechnology, and the legacy of figures like Darwin and Ballard. A unique visual and conceptual experience, accessible for free.
