Space mission

Since 2023, the Cité des sciences offers an unprecedented immersion in space exploration. The “Mission Space” exhibition deconstructs the myths of space, revealing the complexity of manned and robotic missions. Through five interactive stages, visitors discover state-of-the-art technologies, simulations of journeys to Mars, and reflections on the challenges of life beyond Earth. The exhibition addresses the Artemis mission, the exploration of Europe and the Rovers, as well as the issues surrounding lunar colonization. An immersive game allows visitors to practice living a day on Mars, while an augmented reality filter simulates the sensations of launch. The exhibition also offers educational resources and activities for all ages, providing a unique perspective on the future of humanity in space.
