No flowers - Centre culturel suisse Paris
In March 2026, the Centre culturel suisse Paris will host its first monographic exhibition of Akosua Viktoria Adu-Sanyah, a Zurich-based artist fascinated by the fragility of memory and the transformations of perception. The exhibition, the result of an intense research since 2021, explores loss and absence through an unprecedented dialogue between traditional photographs, AI-generated manipulations, and darkroom experiments. This photographic corpus, titled ‘no flowers’, draws inspiration from the process of bereavement, confronting the viewer with visual distortions and questions about medical violence. The work is the result of a 152-page book, published in 2026, and constitutes a deep exploration of photographic materials and their impact on perception. The exhibition is free to visit from March 26 to July 26, 2026.
