On April 15, 1874, at precisely 8 pm, thirty-five defiant painters to the official Salon invested Nadar's studio to inaugurate the very first Impressionist exhibition. Relive this pivotal moment when Monet, Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Cézanne and Pissarro defied conventions, presenting 165 audacious works. Through a faithful 3D reconstruction based on in-depth research from the Musée d’Orsay, you can wander freely for 45 minutes in VR amongst these nascent canvases, from Parisian boulevards to the Île de la Grenouillère and Le Havre. A headset provided, accessible in wheelchairs with glasses or hearing aids. A total of one hour of collective intergenerational experience at ECLIPSO Paris, as of today until 2099. Meet these revolutionary young artists at the heart of their creative drive – an unprecedented look at the birth of a movement that redefined art.
