In 2026, the European Photography Museum will celebrate the bicentenary of the invention of photography with “La photographie en toutes lettres” (Photography in All Letters). This unique exhibition, designed as an accessible alphabet for everyone, brings together 34 artists from a corporate collection and the MEP’s collections. Each artwork is presented in an unexpected context, encouraging personal and creative interpretation. Names such as Rineke Dijkstra and Bernard Plossu are featured, offering a dialogue between works that challenge conventions. The exhibition invites you to explore fragments of photographic history, oscillating between nostalgia and invention, and to build your own visual narrative. It is conceived as an invitation to contemplation and exchange, a true game of correspondences where each letter opens a door to a rich and complex photographic universe. The event will take place from June 10th to September 13th, 2026.
