On June 23, 2026, the nation honors one of its greatest minds by opening the doors of the Panthéon to Marc Bloch. To accompany this historic event, the Archives of Paris shed light on the exceptional destiny of this co-founder of the School of Annales and heroic figure of the Resistance. This biographical journey traces his deep ties with the capital, from university benches to the clandestine networks of resistance against the occupier. Through a selection of historical documents, the exhibition reveals the trajectory of an intellectual who knew how to combine scientific rigor with civic courage. This tribute offers an intimate and necessary look at the writer and activist, just before his entry into republican eternity. The presentation is accessible in the reception hall of the Archives of Paris until August 7, 2026.
