140 million of years ago, the ground of present-day Charente trembled under the weight of colossal creatures. The Grande Galerie de l’Évolution sheds light on the treasures from the Angeac site, one of the richest paleontological deposits in the world. The journey showcases the daily lives of researchers – between brushes, paintbrushes and petrified bones – to understand how these giants lived during the Cretaceous period.
